If you’re eating there maybe a couple hours. Bring a cooler to bring cold stuff home
Oh if you're coming 2.5 hrs away it's big alright. I took the boys here for the first time and we all spent a good 2-3 hrs around the whole entire marketplace including the book store too. To make it worth it make sure you buy something to take home at at least that's all. I hope this helps you. Peace ✌️
Eating there is a must, plan at least an hour or two if you are slow and really want to absorb everything. It's not very big but a lot of near stuff that will bring you back to Japan if you've ever lived there.
It is not huge. If one looks at everything & does grocery shopping & eats in tge food court plus spends considerable time shopping in the cool boonstore 2 hours is plenty of time. I highly recommend the cream pan baked rolls in the Pastry Hippo. Market sushi is amazing. Buy & eat there in the food court. Great Ramen there too and curry dishes. Crepes place is stellar. Most restaurants close at 7 or earlier. Id get to food court no later than 5 or 6 at the latest. Selection dwindles in terms of sushi.
Yeah, I usually go to the stationery store first, then the bakery, as you have to pay for your stuff in those two areas individually, and then if I am eating at the restaurants I would do that before hitting the main supermarket. A couple of hours at least if you are checking everything out, yes.
