When I fail to find what I'm looking for at all of those places that shall remain nameless in this post.. I spent an afternoon during the week searching for a particular item because I didn't have time over the weekend. jetted out of work and figured " yeah I'll go here" couldn't find it so figure I go there here and there five different stops with no luck I must have passed the Salvation Army once or twice in my travels trying to find this particular item. with no luck I figured why not the Salvation Army has all sorts of stuff. I entered not well lit but enough to get around not many people and the ones who were in there seem busy going through racks and racks of items. I knew what I wanted and why I was there so no sense beating around the bush I walked right over and there it was not just one but all sorts of them picked out my size and a color that seemed to match and I was out of there, not until after picking up a couple margarita glasses and a vinyl by Hank Williams.. little bit of advice check the Salvation Army first you may be surprised.

Wish I could give zero stars. Cashier was so rude. I had a pair of shoes with a sticker on them and she said “ $45 they aren’t $6. You paying $45 for these? I wouldn’t. “ Price was indeed not $45 the shoe had an 4.5 at the bottom cause that was the size. She then tossed them under her register. She probably wanted them for herself. I see lots of nasty reviews about this lady at this location. She did not let me purchase them. She said she was closing and rushed me to pay for my other items. Save your time and go to Goodwill where you’ll get treated with respect :) It was 15 minutes to close and she was also telling people to leave and not come in cause they were closed. Disgusting embarrassing behavior coming from a 40+ year old woman. Get better employees.

I had two small items with purple tags on them..The older lady at the counter said ohh pretty clock and then decided to take it from me..She also took the cake cutter too..She said the items were priced wrong..I go ok I didn't switch the tags..I go can you get a manager to look at them..She says I'm the manager and we don't have time for that..I go can I go back tommorow for them or have them call me ...She's said no you can't we don't do that..She was very rush rush to shut me up....I honestly believe that she wanted those items for herself..It was really weird, rude and seemed very shady..

Yes they do. Im a driver and a lot of the stores have people working off their community service hours at a lot of store locations. As how to go about getting started with it, I have no idea.
Clean, neat, and orderly. Great place for bargains! One person's junk is another person's treasure.
Yes .they accept donations.
Yes they do! 😁
Yes I believe they accpct rugs and floor tiles as well.
Sadly, they have no number where you could talk to the person; their calls are routed to donation center and workers have cell phones - probably their own phones...
You can drop off any time during regular business hours
No Goodwill does not pick up any merchandise
Some of it go back on sale the following week
You would have to contact one of the citadels. The location this is posted on is just one of the stores. Look up the Norridge citadel or clybourn arc
