Are there areas you don't have to reserve for birthday parties? All I see is $31 per hour 2 hour min on all the areas with groups of tables. I should add, are there any single tables or any area that is first come first serve for a birthday?

If you want to use the bbq pits or gazebos you do have to reserve. So to answer your question "no".
