I have had only good experiences with the service at Olathe Toyota.
Sounds to me like they were talking about a 30k service. That sounds more like the price for that particular service.
Sounds like a miscommunication. Being in Olathe, they tend to understand the obstacles presented to deaf folks. In my experiences...Olathe Toyota's Service department is absolutely wonderful.
We took my daughters 2016 Scion which has 10,000 miles on it, for the 30,000 mile service today. They said if she did not do it her lifetime warranty would be void. Because they go by the months on her car. We were also told the free service was finished. Remember this is a 2016 car bought is May of 2016. Not even two years old yet and 10,000 miles on the car. The free service says,no cost service fr two years or 25,000 miles but they still say she has to pay $274.00. The service manager said where did you get that service agreement from. Me, the sales people gave it to her when she bought the car. Than to my surprise he said that is for a toyota and you have a Mazda. I said that is a Toyota Scion. He said no it is a Mazda Scion. They had not told my daughter it was a Mazda Scion or that it was to have a different warranty when she bought it. How many of you have been fooled by Toyota? Look at the symbol on the front of you Scion.See if it is Toyota or Mazda
I agree with all of the previous statements. That being said, they ARE a car dealership. The service department pulls in the most money, from what I've been told by people in the know.
