If you want to end up throwing money away to fund the pockets of their incompetent workers, here’s where you do it. Not only do they do the bare minimum when it comes to maintenance, but when you report there is black mold in their laundry areas, they will tell you to open the windows when you’re in there. Or, if you have a window that nearly broke your spouses hand from slamming down, they will say “probably shouldn’t open the window” and then proceed to take 5 months before fixing it. If you have a major life event come up, and need to move, do not expect them to be honest with you about how much it will cost to buy out the lease. They are disrespectful liars who do not share everything they should. If you choose to lease here, be smart enough to read through the entire lease before signing anything. Rosanna will “shorten” what the each page says, you should refuse to take her word for it. Also, make sure you have an attorney if you’d like to live here. Good luck!

I would not recommend living here unless you’re on a serious budget. The heat/ac never worked well and we had to suffer through the cold winter and hot summer. When we moved in we had brought all new furniture, a brand new mattress and immediately put a bed bug protector on it. A few months in I notice a small bug on my shirt and it ended up being a bed bug. They were probably left in the carpet from the previous person who lived there and never took car or it. Southfork required us to pay for the exterminators which was about $400. I never felt completely safe living here and so many sketchy people live here. The unit wasn’t in bad shape at all, but there was also a roach infestation. The trains are also horrible.

I can't complain. You get what you pay for. My rent was under $600. Whenever something went wrong, it was repaired immediately. I absolutely love Rosanna! If I didn't buy a fancy car I would have stayed. This was my first place on my own. If your looking for a place to start. Go to southfork.

Well it was fine at first my fiancé and I had just moved to Kansas and we needed to find a place for our little family. We weren't use to the high prices but we thought for the price it would be fine for a year. Well we moved in with our two kids and then about a month later found out that we were expecting. :) Not bad thing, bc we were fine and happy with the apartment. Well next thing we knew we noticed that our apartment had a leak above the sliding glass door that would poor in water when it rained. Well reported it nothing got fixed. Well a few months later we still had the same problem and the another leak above the front door above the air/heating unit (really safe right) again not fixed. Well our air/heating unit in our second room quit working, smelled like it was burning and it's now summer and being 5/ six months prego that's not a good thing. So my fiancé went to unplug it so the apartment wouldn't burn down. This they sent maintenance to actually come in. Well they tried saying my fiancé messed it up. Well anyway they actually fixed it. But still nothing on the leaks. Well everything was fine till it came down to when I had out baby. I couldn't really go back to work full time even though I went back a week after I had him and still couldn't really work cause my body wouldn't allow it. Well needless to say even with my husband working all the bills started to pile up and we tried to talk to the company bc we got behind on rent by not even a full month and guess what they don't give a u know what about anything but their money. So guess what we had to borrow money and guess what had to pay it back so that didn't really help bc the next month we got behind again and same deal. Moral of this nice long post is this company don't care about anything that could possibly happen to anyone aslong as they get their money. They DONT AND WONT work with you. They want it all or nothing. I am writing this to tell u that if u rent from this place I hope and pray u never hit hard times and if u do I hope u have a way of getting help and u can handle the stress. No new parent or family should have to worry about ur place u leave to work with u or not. Again it was great at first but I WILL NEVER REFER THIS PLACE TO ANYONE EVER!!! Best of luck!
