Are there anyplaces i can meett a friend for a bite to eat if he doesn't have a ticket? I am layed over for 3 hours and he lives there. If not anything close enough to make it back and through security?

In any airport in the world you have to leave the secured area to meet somebody waiting outside, and then reenter ( go through the whole process again) to get to your flight. I wouldn't risk it. It can take you at least one hour to pass through security. 3 hours is not a lot of time.

I wouldn't risk it, you're looking at an hour to meet, minimum 30 minutes each way to physically get to somewhere you can eat, leaving only an hour for security and getting on the plane. Most i would do is meet to hang out outside of security. Have them bring coffee and a sandwich.
