Skin test is the way to go. They do them Monday through Thursday only. You have to return in 2 to 3 days, so plan that. Cost is $20 If you were immunized as a child for TB (common in other countries) you should not do the skin test, but only the blood test.
Blood test is not instant results. Takes at least 24 hours to get labs back. Better off doing the skin test and saving money.
Blood test = instant results, costs $60. Skin test = done at clinic next door, results on a return visit, costs $20. I may be $5 off on the prices, I don't remember exactly, but I remember there was a $40 difference.
The blood test is more reliable though. For some reason my family gets an allergic reaction to the skin test but the blood test always turns out fine.
