Are dogs required to wear leashes? If they are not, do people typically have their dogs on leashes? We have a 4 month old male puppy; he has all of his shots, but he will be relatively new to several loose dogs. Just want to make sure he's ok!

Leashes arent required. It is a gated area. When I went there, my pup was only 4 months old as well but I brought him there as early as possible to get him used to other dogs. Some dogs play tougher than others so I would just be careful. Always had a great time though. It's a great dog park

90% of the time, all of the dogs are off leash. That being said, you shouldn't have to worry too much. I'd keep your puppy on leash and let them get to know the older dogs. My dog is very small and loves going to the dog park to play with the big dogs. Everyone is very friendly. Also, there is a gated entrance, which is really helpful in introducing the dogs with a barrier.

Leashes are not required in the park. All dogs run around free and it is up to the owners to keep them in check. Usually in the mid day it is not to busy but can get busy after owners get off of work.
