I have been a Charleston rural king customer for many many years, until I purchased a Stihl chainsaw back in February. Since the day we brought it home we had a hard time starting it and it wouldn't stay idle. Since I got the warranty we took it back for someone to look at,we used it maybe a total of 5 times. We got a call maybe a week or 2 later with the man stating we ran it without the air filter, which we did not. Contacted Stihl and they said we now didn't have the warranty.Fast forward 4 months, the man from rural king calls and informs there's is only so much pressure that it's going to cost a couple hundred to fix and was incredibly rude to me on the phone. Said we could pick it up free of charge. Today we went to pick it up and brought it home, started it and huge clouds of white smoke were coming from it and oil was leaking everywhere. To say I'm upset and dissatisfied is an understatement.Not only did I spend $400 on a chainsaw that I can't use I was talked to so rudely. Now I'm out of a chainsaw and $400. For me being someone who Shopped at Charleston rural king regularly I don't think I will ever be back.
