No it is supposed to be relaxing. I didnt really relax but it was an interesting experience. Some people say they sleep during the session. Use the ear plugs and neck pillow provided for better experience.
It should not bother you blood pressure. The first time can be tuff you will feel lime your going around and around every direction. Some people their frist time tend to bounce around the tank just relax lay back and float i love the closed tanks idk y anyone would bring a neck pillow as your floating the idea is you loose all your senses and it can help with lost of stuff.
