This is the worst post office ever!!!! Arrived at 4:30 pm to pick up a package and doors were locked. You close at 5 per your website. Service is the worst they have lost 7 packages in the last 6 months yes I have been home to sign if needed they don’t knock on your door packed are left in the mail room yet there are parcel boxes beyond mad about package that was suppose to be delivered yesterday per my ring camera no one came to my door and I was home all day TODAY FOUND ATTEMPTED DELIVERY SLIP IN MY MAIL BOX INSIDE A COSTCO MONTHLY FLYER YOU DO NOT DESERVE ANY STAR

Well. I finally did it. I quit. It's been a long time coming but I'm quitting. My time at USPS has been the worst job experience I've ever had. At no point during these past months have I felt respected, but rather unvalued as an CCA and a person. Upon disclosing my concerns just after I was hired I was told I was easily replacable and my worries were quickly written off as if they were meaningless. Everytime I interacted with management my criticisms and concerns were belittled which discouraged me from reaching out anymore. And the postmaster is selfish and arrogant !!From day one I've continued to be disrespected by both management and my colleagues. Not one person respected my preferred name and pronouns, even though I provided it to management during my interview. There’s absolutely no work life balance and if you ask for time off though the night if you don’t have annual leave of which they take if you call out sick because you don’t earn sickleave as a CCA .I've had co-workers actively insult my appearance, while they believed I couldn't hear them. and the supervisors can do and say whatever they want and write you up for things that isn’t true very shady place and not to mention they have the employees clocking them in .There has even been an occation in which I have been yelled at and scolded about advo preference without a warning or constructive correction. Never have I felt welcome at my USPS office. And I worry those entering this workforce after me will experience the same work place discrimination if nothing changes. I recommend those in management reflect on these criticisms and consider the wellbeing of themselves and their colleagues. Unfortunately I know my concerns may be disregarded again, but I needed to get this off my chest. I will not be coming back for anymore shifts.

Incredibly inconsistent service and lack of transparency around where a package is in transit, and erratic, borderline dangerous driving

Was able to easily get in and out when mailing a letter and getting extra stamps. The women here were very conversational and funny. I usually come to this post office because it's close to where I live and I've never had an issue except sometimes there is a long wait. Otherwise, I've always received great service here.

Im pretty sure appointments can be made at USPS com
Yesterday closed at 2:00.likely same time today.
It'll never be seen again unless you go into the office now
Just saw this, but some PO's have a self service kiosk and you can overnight it with the proper postage. Hioe this helps.
What? The alley way behind Charlotte Ave's is a place for box trucks or semis to get through. I work for UPS so I know since I'd did deliveries over there. When you leave the outside mailbox go to the left onto the alley way that way you dont have a chance to get blocked if there's USPS and UPS trucks switching out with the one dock that they have. But if they are blocking the outside mailbox by parking then that's a government issue you have to report/address. Hope this helps.
