After you epoxy dries sand w high quality sand disks of 200 then 400, 500 then 1000, 2000 and 3000 all wet. Dont do the mcguire cut and u will achieve a matt finish on whatever u created. It doesnt have the bling of the high shine but has a much better look for high traffic finger prints and smudges with less maintenence.

You can pretty much create what ever your imagination comes up with. Allow yourself to experiment and take failed attempts as a learning experience. Matte finish is super easy, Use theStonecoat Countertops polishing disc set and finish with a foam pad on an orbital using a Mcguires cutting compound. Hopethis helps.
