What time does the parking lot for the beach close? If we want to come in the afternoon for a few hours, will the lot still be open to park?

In the summer, the lot can fill up by 8:30-9:00, and then you are just hoping for people to leave until late afternoon.

They post their hours at 8am to one hour after sunset. Parking lot is always full. Need to arrive early. Other option is to catch the shuttle
