Go early be there 730 am two lines ...one for appt..and walk in line.. get in that line...they cannot gurantee you will get in if you go later in day..i went stood in line for 2 hours and got in..its organized but a pain and i stesz the earlyness. They take all appts before walkin line.
I walked in without an appointment but I had all my required paperwork and they let me in.
Yes you can go to dmv without a appointment. But be prepared with all your documents or u will just waste yours and their time. And you will be standing in a line outside. But i was just there to cancel reg. And had no appt. Took 15m total, good luck
