How do I get a public defender for my son who is in jail in another county but needs to be in court on August 2nd and he won't be out of jail till August 5th

I agree with Teressa, when he appears in court if he can't afford an attorney, the court will appoint him one, but you can always call the PD office and speak to an attorney before hand.
