Hi, Unfortunatly my daughter who lived in Truckee for many years passed away. Her children want to host a memorial service at Donner Park on Sunday, Sept. 1st. This isbusy weekend. are there any vacant spots to hold service & picnic?

Yes, contact Donner Park about the memorial service. I noticed a small rest area at Donner Park, but you may ask if they can do it for you on that weekend. I think a holiday weekend will be too busy or not big enough for memorial service. The parking area is not large enough to accommodate your request plus the holiday weekend too.
