I called to inquire about an apartment, Felicia told me that 2 studio units were available. We discussed how I was en route from New York with all of my belongings in a trailer. I was planning on staying at a hotel while awaiting the application screening process (3-5 days). I quickly booked at the Marriott when I was about 2 hours away and upon arrival, to my surprise there was my new home on the left, Coburn Crossing! You all have no idea what I've been through lately and how happy I was to have found a place in majestic Truckee as it is quite challenging. I arrived after the office had closed. I submitted my application online. I called first thing in the morning and they had rented both of the units within a couple hours. Why didn't anyone let me know?! Now I am here and there are LITERALLY no other studio or 1bd apartments available in all of Truckee. 2 and a half year waitlist for a nearby complex. Completely derailed my moving plans! I am devastated. What am I supposed to do now?!

My children have been renting for 5 months and one of the bathroom showers has not worked since they moved in. The handle fell off on first use. During a recent visit I jury rigged a fix with vice grips.

$1295.00 ....... for a studio. Outrageous and completely unrealistic for a single person in Truckee.

My bf has been living here for almost 5 months. The manager gave me a tour and was super friendly! My bf had a maintenance issue that was addressed right away. When my lease is up I will be moving here!
