No. It is a non profit that cares for injured birds. And then they are released back into the wild when they are healed. The staff is almost all volunteers as am I. They are definitely welcome and friendly Open Thursday through Saturday to the public. They will taker you for tours with your admission it is a wonderful place to visit if you love birds.
