The barracks are individual rooms, with 5 beds per room. Each one is independently climate controlled and has its own bathroom. The kitchen was closed, but we were able to easily acquire food from nearby shopping and restaurants. (There is a city about 15 minutes away.) One of the nicest camp sites I’ve been to in the southeast.

I chaperoned a camp that was held at this camp and there were some really cool amenities. It’s right on an inlet so the views are picturesque and there’s always a breeze which is nice during the summer months. The sleeping accommodations were really nice as there were several bunk rooms with a common area and several bathrooms per building too. Very spacious! You can canoe and kayak or set up a hammock by the water. The camp has an inground pool, a dining hall and a recreation building with a stage. Everything is air conditioned except for the recreation building which I think would be such a nice addition. There are tiny little crabs all over the place near the water which was really fun to watch. Will definitely go back!
