Its a wonderful easy walk for a family.
Ou can picnic there they have a few areas to eati dont know if they removed the grills that. They use to have there I know they have a concessions stand now
There's the Christmas lights, playground is open, and the beautiful Swans. They have a post around the park that has ALL the different species of swans, trees and flowers.
There is a playground and walk around the lake a admire the flowers and swans
When my wife and I were there in October the visitor center was closed but the park was open. They have a trail around the lake where you can view swans, geese, & ducks. As you will find in any lake there are also turtles. There is information posted on one end of the lake telling you about the different species of swans. It's a beautiful place to visit.
