Rented a canoe and took a nice little cruise around the lake for a few hours. One of the most peaceful places around.

A very beautiful place to go regardless of the time of year. Went twice since I moved here, and I must say, if you want a nice romantic place to go for a autumnal or Christmas stroll, this is great for that. You want to bring the kids? Have at the playground, just try to keep them away from the swans as they can be a bit aggressive around children, most likely due to size. I have found having a walking stick will more than likely keep the water fowl away, as the last time they would walk right in front of me without one, and would waddle their little butts away when holding one.

Irish Gardens has a great walking trail. I saw a lot of interesting plants and sculptures. Make sure to get the plant guide that's on their website. I also enjoyed observing the swans while I sat by the water. There is also a playground on-site for the kids. Iris Gardens is a great place to bring the family!

No. Across the other side maybe. Small gate to entrance. Call in advance for large busses.the buses would have to park on main road
Yes! They have an elevator to go up the bridge and cross the road as well.
I am sure, yet it may be open tomorrow for the Christmas light display that is held there every year.
I have seen a snake here one time in twenty plus years. It was in the water.
Yes closes at 830
Can the senior citizens fish at swan lake
I didn't see any BBQ places. But they have a place to sit with family.
Iris festival was this past weekend, but gardens and paths around the lake
On a Google Maps view of the trail, look for the path in the shape of a circle a little NE of "The Loving Trees" pin, that's the statue's location.
Not sure call them
Swan Lake Iris Gardens has no admission fee and it closes at Sunset. Swan Lake is a hidden gem, there's something enjoyable for everyone!
The water for the pond across the street comes from the main pond at swan lake and is controlled by water gates which the city controls ask them why they let it get so low. I think I'm right at least it was that way when I was little.
maybe perhaps if you do not puncture holes in trees and use a hammock stand
They have feed in the back, not allowed to feed them
You can picnic, but at your own risk with the swans.
With the "average" traffic flow, I would bank on 20 mins for the whole tour.
Its a wonderful easy walk for a family.
Yes!

No the place is not haunted, maybe by people, but by spirit's no. So no👻...safe.
The place is not haunted. Sure it has been there along time. But far as haunted no.
Not that I know of. You can check with the local newspaper The Daily Item
Dogs are allowed in just a small area but not where the swans ducks and geese hang out. You don't need your own benches they have plenty.
Usually about mid April to mid may. There were some there already last I went in march.
7p today. Yes open on Sunday
On the website it says Sunday through Thursday from dusk until 9pm. Friday through Saturday until 10pm
It's big, the larger side where the playground is takes about 35 minutes to walk around with my 5 and 7 year old. The other side only takes around 20-25 but it's a big area to take on in one visit
There are places on Guignard and on Alice Drive. Both are a few minutes drive from the gardens.
7:30 to shower
Yes
No not anymore... They have feeders that the swans can freely go up to and feed themselves.
The park is closed during the night.
Yes we have a butterfly garden.... Gift shop is open 8-5 Mon-Frid
You can walk around the lake and see the swans and check out the pretty gardens!
Memorial day weekend is time for the Iris Festival, last year they had a butterfly tent !! Awesome experience !
Yes you can.. They have a gazebo that has been done over and that's where the weddings take place.
On Liberty, a little east of Alice Dr.
Dogs are allowed but not inside the park or inside the playground. More than welcome to walk the dog around in any of the free space at the park..
