Yes it is open year round. During the heavy rain season ask for a site on high ground or don't put anything electrical on the ground. It's not just this campground but the land in the low country is often below sea level. Even downtown Charleston floods a foot or so from heavy rain.

Just be careful if it is raining, the sites don't drain very well. The water fried our satellite dish and my daughter's electric power cord. It was an expensive stay for us.
