It is a village dedicated to USArmy corps of Engineers volunteers. This is where the volunteers park their campers and live during their tenor as volunteers for the corps on Strom Thurmond lake. The Corps takes excellent care of their volunteers because of their dedication and commitment to the work they perform as volunteers. They are very appreciated. Hat's off to the USACE!

This is a private campground for Corp volunteers only. Sorry, not open to the public. Good nearby Army Corp of Engineers camping at Modoc Campground.
