A good family oriented trip

It's a nice campground. Just doing some construction adding new sites. Quite muddy from all the rain!

More of a homeless trailer park, roads full of big holes, no security, cars and trucks drive through all nite. Maintenence employee Not Friendly, unable to use pool in morning. Not at all worth the price which has went up to cover new concrete for expansion. Stayed 2 weeks for$780.

Very nice full service RV park. Sites are flat, grassy, some in the trees, some out in open sky. 30 and 50 amp with water and sewer. Most are SAT friendly. There is a lake, walking trail, pool, bath house . They have a bunch of long timers here, but they keep their sites clean. I imagine they are working in the area. Ther park is expanding with about 20 new sites that have concrete pads. There is a discount for escapees, passport America, good Sam, e.t.c. close to Charleston SC.

Yes. It depends on the type of spot, power, sewer. Tent or camper
Yes you can pay weekly and stay in one spot for a long time. I did it here once for 6 months waiting on the cheaper monthly spaces to come available. But many of the folks in here a full timers.
I have not made arrangements paying cash could not get an answer or call back. Won't be off of work by the time the office closes
No it does not
When we stayed there, it rained alot, so much standing water everywhere that it fried my family's power cord and our tailgater satellite stopped working because of the water that flooded in through the legs of the unit. Expensive stay for us. ☹️
$26.50 w/o electricity, $33 with
Yes and yes
It all depends on weather you are coming with an RV Or a tent. Elec/ or not. They are very reasonable and is a wonderful place for all around family fun and bonding.
I had 20/30 amp full hook up and it came to about $51 per night. Dogs are allowed on a leash
I have no idea. You should contact them directly
Charleston can be a very stormy place, I can't remember how the refund or cancellation policy works with Lake Aire Campground but I would wait until the last minute as weather is always fickle on the coast.
Yes, but you could rent a house for the same cost.
I know it varies based on septic hook up.. which I do have & it is $250 weekly. Im not sure about more primitive sites which im sure it'll be little less.
I'm pretty sure that the pool closes at 10pm. Quiet time starts at 10pm. It doesn't mean that you can't still enjoy sitting around the fire with family and friends or walking around the park, it's just keeping the noise down so that others can settle in for the night.
I would think so, but not sure
Look at their website. Think it was around $45 a night. Nice park to see Charleston SC.
Yes it is open year round. During the heavy rain season ask for a site on high ground or don't put anything electrical on the ground. It's not just this campground but the land in the low country is often below sea level. Even downtown Charleston floods a foot or so from heavy rain.
When I asked did they rent year round the person who answered phone said no
Rent is $600 per month. FIRST $80 for utilies included. Water and rest included. Don't know about rentals. None that I know of. Try craigslist.
That had some perminent sites. If they have any available, I'm sure you could stay there on long term.
Don't know how much they charge weekly or monthly but do know there are people that live out there in tents and campers on a permanent basis. Best to call them and ask for prices.
