Yes. It is a beautiful park with lots of trails and bike paths. The boat ramp to launch a boat or kayak is not onsite just be aware of that. It is right outside the park. I would say within a 1/8 th of a mile. The boat area is really nice , free with free parking and they have a bait shop. We kayaked all day.
Absolutely! There are lots of different trails, a small museum, and options for other activities like biking (you can rent bikes if you don't have your own) and canoeing and kayaking.
Yes
Canoe with a guide...absolutely beautiful but wear tons of bug spray!! Biting gnats!
Yes! It is a beautiful, serene park and the camp sites are well maintained but still rugged. They are situated nicely if you want a little privacy or more social time. It has beautiful walking trails through the marsh and an interpretive visitor center. Its an easy drive to Savannah for a day trip or a little further to a famous cemetery and kayaking and other fun stuff. Make that your home base for those two days and you can take in a lot of the surrounding area easily or stay in camp and be happy exploring ther. Clean and close restroom and ahower facikites in camp and rv trash disposal as well as tent sites. excuse typos.
We are going in April Its close to Savannah which we want to explore. Comments are nice to know.
The park is gorgeous but can be seen in one whole day. We walked all of the trails in about 3 hours.
Definitely
Maybe. If you fill those two days with activities.
