Von Trapp Animal Lodge is truly the premier boarding and day care for your dogs and cats! They take any breed of dog as long as it passes a temperament test. Everything the employees do is to keep your pet safe. They take the time to memorize DOZENS of dogs' names as well as their personal belongings. The dogs always seem happy and well taken care of. Extra care is taken to clean and sanitize the kennels and play areas. There is also an incredibly easy drop off and pick up system in place. I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else. They were good to me so I know they'll be good to you.

I literally couldn’t say enough about how amazing Dr. von Trapp and her team are. My dog has osteosarcoma and was seeing Dr. von Trapp for acupuncture. She went out of her way to help us in any way she could and always made time to see him. In the end, when the cancer took him from us, she sent a personalized email to us conveying her sympathies as well as sent a hand-written note. I will always recommend her facility to anyone who asks and will definitely use her in the future if we find the room in our hearts for another pet.

Went to inquire about their services as the facilities seem nice for our sweet little dog, and just peered into the front door window looking to enter. My inquisitive look was met with a stern "just a minute" finger and stern look from the owner. So I waited outside for a couple minutes and then an employee came out to nervously answer my questions. Im reluctant to bring our beloved fur baby to a place where basic people skills are lacking. Is CoVid so dangerous for the dogs that nobody can step in to inquire about the services?! Or are you afaraid a middle-aged Mom wearing a Covid mask might pose a security risk? Or is there something to conceal? Bizarre.

I have two American Bulldogs who have been to training and we live on 5 acres so they have plenty of exercise. We wanted to make sure they had time apart and socialize. We took our female first everything seem okay at first , got the camera subscription so I could see her . All I ever seen was her lock up with a bunch of dogs . Never in the pool or any kind of interaction. She got where she didn’t even want to get out the car. Now my male whole different story. Went for temperament test , he was shaking and I told the young lady he was nervous . I think he thought he was at the vet which he is petrified of, oh no problem he would be fine. I get a call not even 15 minutes to come get him , and was ask to come in he was growling at the owner , now my dog has NEVER growled at anyone kids and people can do anything to him and he is just laid back. We have friends that bring dogs over to play and they have a blast. So not sure other that throwing him in a pen with other dogs and being scared and not sure what she did to my dog ! But I would say be very cautious
