My daughter got stung today
I didn't see any washed up on the beach during my last visit time. ****** Correction: my 8 year old grandson just came back from the beach 15 minutes ago and he got stung by a jellyfish!!!! Thank you to beach goers and the lifeguard who came to his aid. Vinegar is the miracle cure.
I didn't see any. They are a possibility though. When there is the life guards will tell you, they have flags for stinging marine life. So you'll know when you get there, but I'm pretty sure it's very unlikely.

Anytime you're considering going ininto the ocean on the West or East Coasts, if you're in the lower half of either coast, jellyfish should be a consideration, most commonly, as others has said, in the Spring or after a big storm. We were there in June, and we had no probs re jellyfish, nor did anyone else we saw or heard. The CROWDS, however, were a much different problems. Toooooooooooooooooo many people !!
Jelly fish season is usually in march April, sometimes even after big storms they wash up
