This is an incredible self walkung tour of the science museum, lighthouse and all the out buildings. The area is steeped in history. There is even a North Beach outdoor restaurant/bar next door and most days and night live lical music. Highly recommended to make tjos a stop on your travel list!

Tybee's Light House and Museum are a stop that is well worthwhile for learning about the region’s history, especially it's maritime connections that formed so much of its character and the historic events that occurred around it. You can have a look without buying a ticket but the entry, exhibits, and learning are well worth the price of admission. A full tour should allow at least one to two hours. It's an easy drive over from Savannah and a good place to take a break and a stroll.

If the beach is quiet and has its beauty. It is not blue like those of the Caribbean but it is beautiful. It has its charm

No. You do not need an appointment. I would check the weather prior to going. If the wind is to bad and it's raining you wont be able to go on the lookout and they dont offer refunds.
