If the lighthouse tour seems expensive, consider that city-wide parking on the street is about $4 per hour. That's 16 quarters or yet another charge on your card that your bank can flag as "fraud". The tour has free parking and is meager by comparison. Yes, parking costs th spend time on the beach too, so think of it like purchased time on "natures tanning bed" (unless you are renting nearby)

We did the Sunset tour which included climbing to the top of the lighthouse and tour of the head keepers house as well. That was $25 a person. I believe if you just do a regular tour it was $7 i believe. Sunset views was amazing. Hope this helps. :)

Parking lot by the Light House is included in the your entrance fee so don't park at the beach lots or by the Military Bunker Museum then also covered by your Light House fee.
