If you are on a layoff it's an easy process to draw unemployment....If you were terminated the company often fights the unemployment and often wins but this largely depends on what state you reside in...If you have been suspended for bad behavior, insubordination, ect,. The same thing will apply in regard to drawing unemployment as it does when an employee is terminated... But suspensions from a job are generally only 1 to 3 days and rarely are they for weeks or months. It is only when a person willfully quits a job that guarantees that you will not draw unemployment.
