I first off would like to state that to everyone that has read this and we are all going through the same thing I hope it get better for each of you. So during the pandemic I received an email telling me that I would have to send in proof by a certain time making sure I was not one of the people that wasn’t committing fraud. So I turned it in. I never received the remainder amount of my unemployment even though I would never fraud. I started a couple of jobs (contract work) and filed for it in Feb 2022. I kept certifying and then I got an email telling me to stop. I called, emailed, and gotten no responses. So I called again this Monday and she took my name and had someone call me back. This lady kept being rude im trying to explain the answer to the questions she asked me and she was so rude. I indicated. You’re not going to be rude after the last question and she said you can go in and hung up on me. So I called back and spoke to a supervisor. She was a little better but she told me to come in too. The Government has to do better and especially hiring people who are not customer service oriented

There close to the public due to covid ,ok understandable but they NEVER RETURN NO CALLS NOR EMAILS NOR OR ANSWER THEY PHONES I APPLIED A YEAR AGO I EVEN APPEALED MY CASE AND STILL A YEAR LATER NEVER GOT NO RESPONSE

All that money is long gone. These folks get harassed NON STOP about that money but it’s gone the government shut it down.

They only help you with a tiny weekly check if you lose your job, and only for reasons they approve. And it takes quite a while to see any of the money.

You cannot draw unemployment if you quit your job, but, you can draw if you get terminated or laid off

If you are on a layoff it's an easy process to draw unemployment....If you were terminated the company often fights the unemployment and often wins but this largely depends on what state you reside in...If you have been suspended for bad behavior, insubordination, ect,. The same thing will apply in regard to drawing unemployment as it does when an employee is terminated... But suspensions from a job are generally only 1 to 3 days and rarely are they for weeks or months. It is only when a person willfully quits a job that guarantees that you will not draw unemployment.
