My father scheduled a procedure tomorrow and I cannot drive him and be there for him. No idea how to remedy this. What do people do that have no one? Makes me so sad.

There are shuttles from the clinics around Atlanta. If you plan ahead you can sometimes get their volunteer drivers to stop directly at the veterans house. You can find more information about these services through your local VFW, American Legion or DAV. You can also call your father's case worker and ask them for assistance with transportation to identify what is available near you. You can also call the State (of Georgia) veterans affairs office for more information. You are not alone, and neither is your father. Thank you for taking care of our nation's hero.

I was told to take an uber, Lyft, taxi, or the bus and they couldn't send me transportation because I'm not 100% and/ or missing a limb.
