I am concerned because I found methodone in my home . I have a family member that goes to Nexus. My question is do yall or have yall ever prescribed methodone to your patients for pain control?

Yes they do prescribe it at Nexus to patients that have chronic pain. The doctors there are very good at what they do and don't just give out prescriptions unless it's necessarily.

I had a brother that took methadone years ago and he told me that methadone was harder to get off of than any drug he had ever done in his life & told me that whatever pain meds took not to ever take methadone!!!

Yes, methodone has been used in the past. Now Nexus is going to use other medications for chronic pain control I have been going to the clinic for over a year.

Methadone is used to help you get off opioids but is possible.
