There are 4 YNHH Emergency Departments. For Emergency care you could go to YNHH- Adult ED at 20 York, YNHH-Saint Raphael's ED at 1350 Chapel Street (1 block away), or YNHH- Shoreline Medical Center-ED in Guilford at 111 Goose Lane. If you're looking for a child, there is the YNHH Pediatric ED at 20 York as part of the Children's Hospital. If you have Urgent Care needs there is a YNHH Urgent Care at 6 Devine Street in North Haven.
At Yale ER the service is fast and impeccable. The staff is responsible, helpful, understanding and nice. As any other hospital the service could be a little bit slow specially when they have no more room available due to high demand. The radiology department is super fast where the results of your test are always available within 24 hours and for those who have my chart, they will get the results available to them a few minutes after getting their X-ray or Cat scan. I recommend Yale New Haven Hospital to anyone who like and appreciate good service.
