Our youngest started to enjoy these around 7 or 8. Being able to read helps a lot, and if they enjoy doing mazes, word searches, jigsaw puzzles, or the like, they'll probably have fun and even be able to help. The hard part is when they feel left out because they haven't "gotten to open enough locks."
It is family friendly! We feel that everyone enjoys our rooms! There is something to using that logical, deductive thinking and getting to see the results of your hard work that you cannot get anywhere else! We warn you, Escape Rooms are addictive!
It is a lot of fun. It is more for adults and teens. Young kids, it might not be the best for. They might be able to accommodate for young kids if you ask.
