I recently applied at amazon, and I am read to confirm the dates I want to start. My concern is that I have a 2 week vacation planned for December, will that be an issue? I don’t want it to look bad on me, if I do take the position.

As long as you have time to cover it it will not be an issue but if you dont have time then you wont be able to do it! You get 20 hrs of unpaid time every 3 months, accrue vacation every other week and get 48 hrs of pto for the full calendar year!
