Yes! Amazon is going into "Peak" season. This is a very busy time of the year. On average just the Avenel location alone ships out 1 million packages a month. More per month during peak season. Peak usually lasts about 3 months. Seasonal workers have a choice at the end of peak to become permanent. When applying be sure to check position hiring for either Amazon employee or seasonal worker. Avenel location hires PT workers, but during Peak Season you have the opportunity to work up to 60 hours a week. Regular work hours during the year are 20-24 hrs on average. Apply on Amazon website. You will have to set up an account and upload required hiring info and fill out online application and choose desired hiring location. When hired, you will be directed to hiring orientation event- paid- then have photo taken for work badge to scan into building for work and show your ID and sign paperwork for your pay card, unless you chose direct deposit. If you are looking to work as a van driver as far as i know is through one of our partners fleet owners who hire their own drivers. Amazon has a program that allows entrepeneurs who partner w Amazon to have an exclusive agreement to deliver its goods. You will have to search further into that.I am not sure if you can access that info via Amazon jobs site. There are many driver positions available in differente locations and through this site you can identify them and apply in order to be considered for this position. Also the Amazonflex driver app i am not aware if it is still available so that you can work with your own vehicle as an independent driver... Good Luck!

Amazon is always hiring so you apply online or go to a hiring event to get the process started. Even at the hiring event you submit an online application. The culture is nomadic and the turnover is high as most can't/wont last more than two years.

HR is centralized and they determines based on their needs not your desire. Last I heard LGA9 was giving out extended PTO because there wasn't enough work

well they have different positions like picker, stowers, pack, etc. if you want you could look it up on YouTube and it'll show you how the job is done. and I work the night shift 5:00 PM to 3:30 AM. it's a lot of walking and standing so I would suggest wearing really comfortable shoes and bringing at least 2 water bottles

Actually mine was very fast process after the drug test i got the orientation date within a week and all of the communication is via email so monitor it closely

Parking is first space available to you. They have signs up for new hires in the parking lot I believe, I would suggest getting there by 2:20pm so it gives you enough time to find a spot. I believe you will be heading to the side of the building on the left.
