I think that's for the modem and router. The modem is $4 and the router is $6. The bundled internet is the overall plan for the internet that you have. Sounds like you have a plan from back when Brighthouse was still around. I'd recommend stopping by a local office and seeing if they have a different rate available. Yeah, that's what current spectrum customers bills say too. I think it's because the financial department still is up keeping Brighthouse contracts so payments can still be made out to Brighthouse and be accepted. It'll probably take spectrum years to get Brighthouses name completely out of the picture.
The $75 package is for the modem and the 1gig speed. With modem. The $9.99 is the activation for wifi one time fee. The wifi is then billed at aprox. $5 mo. And the modem is included in the price. If you bundle services you can save money overall. Since there is not a contract you can can cancel those services you dont want. Spectrum does not double charge and there is small print in the website that spells it all out. Dont forget to factor in tax which I dont think internet svc has any. Good luck, I have the 100Mbpsand we stream on 3 TVs, connect with a laptop and 3 chromebooks and multiple other devices almost simultaneously and I have not experience any lag or buffering. More than satisfied. I even have their move service and I am paying 1.5 times less than what I did with Verizon for 3 phones while still using Verizon's network....
