Hello Sharon, Thanks for reaching out! First you would need to be a member of the credit union. To join you must live, work or worship in Bergen County, Jersey City, or Paterson, NJ. You will need to complete a membership application and present a physical copy of your ID and Social Security cards plus a $5 fee to open the account. You can then immediately apply for the loan. The loan application will require 2 current pay stubs (if paid biweekly) or 4 pay stubs (if paid weekly) and a Verification of Employment form filled out by your employer as well as a copy of your lease. Please call our branch at 201-968-0202 to get all applications and forms needed for this process. It takes 7-10 business to get approved for a loan.
