Hi My daughter will be 9 on November 12th. All she wants to do for her birthday is to volunteer at a pet rescue. She will be off from school, as will be myself and my 6 year old son. Is there anything we can do? Play, walk dogs etc.? Thanks!

You would probably need to fill out an application & talk to them. I adopted a puppy in Sept. That would be my only interaction with them. If they approve your daughter , it my be helpful later in life as to her vocation , l think at her age , a parent would be the responsible person.I wish you the best ,sounds like your daughter has compassion for animals. Hoo ray. What a nice Birthday wish. Go fore it young lady. You will do fine. XO. JOAN SMITH
