I can’t imagine a nicer animal rescue. The volunteers were so kind. I think the pups are lucky dogs to be held in such caring arms for this leg of their journey

I adopted the sweetest dog from Companion, I named her raven. Brought her to the vets today, they say she looks good, the only thing is she still has a parasite that she had when I got her but the vet says the meds take awhile to work sometimes, Companion was very nice about it and gave me dewormer meds.

some of the staff are extremely rude. we filled out the application and was told we could not rescue because our dogs weren't neutered. (our vet suggested waiting until they got a little bigger before doing so) that is a ridiculous reason to deny a rescue. also most of the dogs didn't look healthy at all. this place is a joke.

Awful rescue !! It is as if they do not want the dogs to be adopted. I showed up at a PUBLIC adoption event in front of an Ace hardware store... I went to the table where two volenteers were sitting. They would not say a word to me. I finally greated them and one was upbrubt and beyond rude. The other did not even acknoledge my exisitence. I actually could not beilve it. I left about 3 seconds after her telling me she was busy and had no time to speak to me. Ok thanks Beth! As a walked away I was confused as to why I was so treated so poorly. I will not be going back.

Absolutely amazing place! My fur neice came from Tennessee!
I am not sure how much adoptions cost here but I suggest that you visit this facility in person so that you can speak to someone from the office or visit their website for more information. As far as I know you only pay for the adoption services such as vaccines, microchip, sterilization and licensing not for the animal him/herself. I hope you can find the baby of your dreams very soon. Good luck to you.
Hello, Thank you for your interest in our rescue. My name is Liz Sheehan and I'm the volunteer Coordinator for CPR. Please complete our volunteer application at http://cprdogs.com/support/volunteer/ . I will be looking for it. Looking forward to meeting you and the Birthday Girl! Thanks Liz
You can see the dogs at the events...we were pre-approved before going and it was a breeze going through our adoption.
You can go whenever it is best for you! Just leave them inside the green doors.
As long as you have the approval email, there would be no need to resubmit the application
We are by appointments only. Visit our website www.cprdogs.com to fill out an application, once approved an adoption counselor will reach out.
No there isn't a number, you have to wait for an email. Things could be slow due to Easter.
FOR MY WIFE AND I....IT TOOK LESS THAN AN HOUR! GO TO THERE WEBSITE AND FILL OUT THE FORM. IT IS IMPORTANT TO HAVE YOUR REFERENCES, VACCINATIONS OF ANY OTHER PETS YOU HAVE AND/OR YOUR VET AVAILABLE TO SPEEK WITH WHEN YOU GO TO ADOPT! THIS WILL EXPEDITE THE PROCESS. FOR YOU!
I will send this message along to the program coordinator.
Hello. If a minor wants to volunteer, they can do so with a parent.
Volunteers help walk dogs, work events, help complete paperwork, help spread the word through social media and foster pups. Any time you can spare is helpful, whether it’s a couple of hours a month or every week.
