Thanks. I am seeing much the same everywhere. It doesn't look like Amtrak serves Beacon, so would need to take Metro North to Poughkeepsie to catch Amtrak. Do bad our transportation systems are not truly multimodal in a convenient manner!

Not really. You can rent a car or get an uber. You could also get a taxi to the beacon strain station and catch an Amtrak train going north.
