Are there fishing areas in the park for people to fish from the banks if they don't have kayaks or canoes?

Yes you can fish from either side of the river banks usually you can walk across to the other side without getting into deep areas. That way you can find your little spot away from everybody.

Good question, and yes they certainly do. The Shenandoah River Winds through the park and there are many many areas where you can fish, most of them in complete isolation if you wish.

Yes the whole park is along river bank and they also have a bridge you can fish of
