There was no band when I was there. Only 1 man to answer questions.
When we visited, there was no band. There was a single person playing a fife. He also answered questions about the fort.
We were there a month ago and we had the same experience with there being a single volunteer. It wasn't clear if the lack of more volunteers was due to Covid or the season.
To my knowledge and information , there is no Civil War Band play.
We went on a week day and there was no band, but there was a volunteer in period dress to answer questions and talk with inside the fort.
