It is advisable. It's very busy. Unless you care to wait an hour or 2 to be seated.

I would suggest reservations. They have amazing food so are usually fairly busy.

You should to be safe

Not necessarily, you can walk im and either sit at the bar or if there is tables available they will let you sit there. But reservations probably would be preferable.
