NO, you cannot drive any farther south than Lot 5. The dirt road you’re referring to is a ranger-only access road that is gated & locked. You CAN walk this road and there is indeed great fishing down that way. Good luck!

There is a round a bout at the beach. I saw the dirt road on google too but it doesn't exist. Site 7 has a good canoe/kayak launch and people fish from the beach.
