YES, YOU CAN CAMP HERE (contrary to what most of the Local Guides “think”). The beach camp site closed in 2013 but there are more than a dozen back-country campsites in Mosquito Lagoon. This means you need a kayak, canoe, boat to get to the sites. Unfortunately all reservations are thru rec.gov now. You used to be able to get sites from the rangers. PS. Dear Local Guides. If you have to use the phrase “I don’t think” in you answer then PLEASE DONT ANSWER. Sheesh, the amount of incorrect answers from the supposed expert Local Guides is frustrating.
Yes there actually is.. if u go on the website u can look into it, u have to reserve your spot extremely far in advance , I believe they only have like 5/10 spots or something. But it's said to be incredible. Check out the national seashore website.
There is no camping within the Seashore area or the Reserve! However, there are some fish camps nearby and if you get a permit there is wilderness camping on some islands, which I have used in a two day canoe trip from New Symrna to Cocoa. Also, there are nearby campgrounds that include State and County parks that have very good camping! Enjoy!
