Each cat is different. They will help you with that when u adopt.
Preferably wet but dry is fine as long as a source of water is always available as cats taking dry food without adequate water may develop problems in the long run. Also, "Human food" is fine but try not to let them get used to it.
Depends on the age and ability of the cat or kitten. Very young kittens require bottle feeding of kitten milk replacement (not milk sold for adult cats in pet stores). Weaning kittens require a combination of bottle feeding & weaning formula of gruel-consistency canned KITTEN food. KMR has excellent milk replacement & weaning formulas. The amount that kittens eat depends on their age, weight, & if their back molars have grown in. Cats over 1 year old may eat dry or wet. Wet is better for them since it provides better hydration and is easier on the digestive tract. Grain free & salt free (or salt being one of the last ingredients) is also healthier. Canned food is more appetizing if fluffed up with a fork rather than just dropping it out of the can onto a plate in block form.Flat plates are easier for canned food to be eaten out of. Dry food is also better if grain free & salt free with a little water added to it (not soggy). Some cats have a preferences. Human food is not recommended.
Both just not human food
