Staff are friendly and have a rough job as people come in from out of the area and give them grief about the rules. They didn't make them up they just have enforce then.

Amazing transfer station. They lock the gate right in time. I was parked out of sight after dropping off the trash. I walked my dogs fir a bit but discovered I was locked in! Fortunately the cops got me out so I didn't have to camp in my volt til 8 AM the next day with two sheperds. Since it's a Hamptons transfer station it was all quite scenic and glamorous.

I think fines need to be given out by the town for people who don’t recycle correctly. Is it that hard people???

Yard debris yes. Braches have to be under 4 inches and some times during the year your can dispose of for free.

There is usually an attendant who will point you in the right direction and they’ll take anything and everything. They will charge you for bulk items, but it’s fairly cheap
