Nice to be back and see familiar faces. Still welcoming and helpful. Sunny's fan club is still intact. However, I'd forgotten that - like most libraries and public buildings - the air conditioning was way too cold. So did only essential tasks, then ditched out. Just in time to grab a bite to eat and see the fireman's parade. How fortuitous!

Love this library! Especially the children's area. It's large and inviting for the kiddo's to play - a perfect spot on a rainy day to play and meet other kids. Their programs are also great and lots of fun!

Great place for all your library needs. Good for the kids they have a while section for them. Saturdays are the book sale from 10am-2pm. Lots of classes and activities for all.

Welcome to Hampton Bays! You can get a Temporary Library Card number for 30 days until you have proof of residence. 1. On our website, click on "Get a Library Card" and you will be taken to the SCLS map page. 2. After you enter your address, click on "Get a Card!" Simply enter your address, and click on "Search Map." 3.The nearest library to your address will pop up. After you click on "Get a Card!" You will be prompted to enter your name, address and phone number. 4. After you click "Submit" you will be directed to a page that has your temporary barcode that is valid for 30 days. You can download the Libby App by Overdrive to your smartphone, PC or tablet. After you enter your library card number (on the back of the card), follow the directions on Libby to sign in and you can start your search. If you have a Kindle Fire, download the Overdrive Media App and you can begin your search too. Any questions give the library a call! They offer One on One Tech help and Drop in Tech on Wednesday and Thursday nights after 5 pm until 9.

-The ESL classes from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm began in September and will be in session until the end of April. -The classes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm, are in session throughout the year. -If you want to attend you just have to come, we provide the material and you do not need to register.
